Which is easier to grow in my garden: eggplant or zucchini?

I'm thinking about starting a vegetable garden and I'm torn between planting eggplant and zucchini. I'd love to know which one is generally easier to grow and if there's any other factors I should consider when making my choice.

Zucchini is often seen as the more useful option, but if you find that you have a slug problem, eggplants can thrive better in pots away from those pests. Just a thought if slugs are lurking around your garden!

RIP your zucchinis! Slugs are the worst ?

I might need to check for slugs too—didn't notice them before!

I’d say go for zucchini! It's usually easier to grow. Just keep it well-watered and add some fertilizer. Just watch out for slugs! They can really mess things up. They devoured all my zucchini plants this summer, so I learned that the hard way!
