I'm having a tough time figuring out how to schedule my plant waterings. I find myself checking every pot almost daily! Some of my smaller plants dry out quickly while larger ones stay moist longer, and I also have cuttings in water that I'm worried about rotting. I'm confused about how to group smaller plants or manage those that prefer different moisture levels. Any advice on how to make this easier would be greatly appreciated!

A cool trick I've picked up is checking the weight of the pots. Once you know the difference between wet and dry soil, just lifting the pots lets you know if they need watering. It's much quicker than sticking your finger in every time!
Observation is key! Take some time to feel the soil and check the weight of the pots regularly. You'll start to notice patterns based on how moist the soil is and how the plants feel. It's a learning process, but it's also part of the fun of caring for your plants!
Honestly, don't stress too much about it! It takes a little time, but after a few months with your plants, you'll get a sense of how often they need water. Personally, I water some of my plants whenever I'm near a jug of water, while others get watered less often. I usually check everything once a week, but sometimes I let them go longer if needed. It's all about getting a rhythm that works for you!

Totally agree! Avoid using plant apps since they often ignore the specific needs of your plants based on their environment. It's better to understand the soil moisture and keep a simple journal until you get the hang of it.
