Are Pencil Point Junipers a Good Choice for Zone 6?

I'm looking to plant four Pencil Point Junipers on my deck to hide my AC unit. They're around 5 ft tall and 1.5 ft wide, but I've had a tough time finding them locally. A shop owner mentioned they don't carry blue junipers due to a past rust disease issue, and other local garden centers have run into similar problems with this cultivar. I'm considering buying them online but am unsure if these junipers perform well in my zone. Does anyone have experience with these, or can you share if they're suitable for Zone 6? Thanks!

Where exactly are you located? Zone 6 covers a lot of ground! Driving distance matters if you're considering picking up those four plants. How far are you willing to travel to find the right junipers?

You might want to go with what you can find locally, or consider ordering smaller ones online to let them grow at your pace. Just keep in mind that you need to leave some space for growth and ensure your AC condenser can breathe—it can dry out your plants a bit and cause some wind damage if they're too close!
