I'm in the process of converting an auto shop into a wood shop, and I've got two hydraulic rotary lifts that I'm curious about repurposing. Has anyone here tried using an auto lift as a height-adjustable workbench or for material handling? I'd love any ideas, experiences, or even pictures of your setups!

I think using a scissor lift could be a game changer for a workbench! They're super flexible with height adjustments, which makes it easier on your back. I’m about to set up something similar with a motorcycle lift. Just a heads up though, if you have a rotary lift with a big frame, that could get in the way when you're trying to work on it.

Yeah, the scissor type does sound perfect for that adjustable height! I can see how it would make a huge difference.
