I'm on the hunt for a weed killer that's safe for both pets and flowers. I'm helping my aunt with her flower beds while she recovers from knee surgery. I've already done some weeding and removed most of the roots, but since I live about six hours away, I can't just swing by to do another round of weeding in a couple of weeks. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Another option could be a corn gluten meal product—it helps prevent weeds from germinating without harming your plants. It’s also safe for pets, which is a big win. You’ll want to apply it at the right time in the season to make it effective, though!
You might want to try using vinegar as a natural weed killer. It's effective on weeds but won't harm your flowers if applied carefully. Just diluting it with a little water can make it pet-friendly too. Plus, it’s cheap and easy to find! Just be sure to spot-treat the weeds directly to avoid getting it on your flowers.
Awesome tip! I've heard that too, but does it really work for stubborn weeds?

Sounds interesting! I’ll definitely look into that, thanks!
