How Can I Get a Proof of Purchase for My Contractor’s Water Heater?

I recently had my hot water heater replaced by a contractor because my hard water caused it to fail. I'm looking to get a proof of purchase so I can obtain a replacement. What steps should I take to get this documentation?

You should definitely reach out to your contractor and ask for the invoice. They typically keep those on file and should be able to provide you with a copy.

Yeah, I tried that but didn't get anything from mine.

If you have the model and serial number of the water heater, you could try contacting the retailer where your contractor bought it. They might help you out even without the official receipt from the contractor.
