I bought a Dewalt shop vac a month ago, but when I was removing the attachment from the main nozzle, it came off and the nozzle detached from the hose. In a pinch, I used some Gorilla Glue to fix it temporarily, but now I need to send a picture to their warranty department. Should I mention that I glued it, or could that void the warranty? I could remove the glue, but I don't want to risk further damage if they aren't helpful.

It's possible they might charge you for repairs or even a replacement, so be prepared for that. But honestly, if it just happened, it might not hurt to ask. They could offer to swap it at the store where you bought it.
I’d suggest calling them directly to explain everything. I had a couple of warranty issues with Dewalt, and they were pretty good about handling them. Since your vac is new, they might just advise you to return it to the store instead of dealing with the warranty.
