Hey everyone! I just finished redoing my kitchen and my girlfriend found a faucet she loves. The faucet mounted well, but the problem is that our countertop is too thick for the side sprayer flange to tighten down properly. Swapping out the faucet would be the easy route, but she's determined to keep this one. I've seen shank extenders for regular faucets, but the flange on this one is much larger than those. Besides potentially gluing it in place (which I want to avoid), does anyone have suggestions for how to make it work? Any advice would be really appreciated!

What material is your countertop made of? If it's something like quartz, you might be able to cut a recess underneath to make it fit. Just a heads up, that could be a bit tricky depending on the space you have to work with.
It would really help to see pictures or at least know the model of your faucet. If it’s just a simple pass-through tube for the sprayer, maybe you could find a different pass-through. If the top isn’t thick enough, you might need to enlarge the hole in the quartz and look for or create a flange extender. Also, don't forget to check with the faucet manufacturer; they might have a solution since quartz counters are pretty common.
Looks like I can’t upload images here. I’m not super familiar with Reddit. I’ll definitely reach out to the manufacturer though. Thanks for the tip!
You could also consider visiting a local hardware store that specializes in plumbing for extra insights. They might have some handy solutions or even specific parts.

I believe it’s quartz. I hadn’t thought of that option! We have the countertop guy coming back for the bathroom counters, so I’ll make sure to confirm. Thanks for the suggestion!
