I recently had our kitchen designed with the LED strip lighting placed in the middle beneath the upper cabinets. Our countertops and backsplash are going to be quartz, and I'm a bit worried about how the light from the strip will reflect on the countertop. Will it create any bothersome glare? We are using a diffuser for the LED strip, and I opted for a 3000K light since I really dislike anything brighter. Am I overthinking this, or should I actually be concerned? I might still be able to change the position if necessary, so I'm looking for your advice and expertise. Thanks!

I prefer 2700K lighting myself! A lot of people go for 5000K, but it's not great health-wise or environmentally. The warm light is so much more pleasant!
I usually recommend placing LED strips all the way at the front edge. That way, they're hidden and you won't get any glare or bright spots on your glossy backsplash!
Is the LED pointing towards the backsplash?

Totally agree! Those cold blue lights are everywhere and they hurt my eyes. I prefer softer lighting too.
