Looking for Easy Solutions Against Spider Mites for My Indoor Plants

Hey everyone, I'm on the lookout for a more convenient way to manage spider mites on my indoor plants, like through watering or soil treatments. Given my health challenges (similar to CFS), the usual routine of spraying and wiping down leaves is just too tiring for me. I recently had a long, exhausting session dealing with my pachira and calathea, and I've still got a messy bathroom to clean!

I'm working with limited space—there's no garden or backyard here, just a tiny shower that turns my whole floor wet. I'm trying to find a product that's available in Europe (especially Austria) that could help reduce the spider mite problem without the usual messy spraying. I've already used acetamiprid for thrips and BTI for fungus gnats, both with good results indoors. However, neem oil didn't do anything for me.

I'm also not willing to use predatory mites due to my phobia of spiders and insects. Just cleaning off the spider mites is tough enough as it is! Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You might want to reconsider the predatory mites option! They can be really effective at getting rid of spider mites, especially if you can boost the humidity around your plants a bit. It's true you might still have some mites, but at least those beneficial ones can help keep things in balance. Just a thought!

I get that it's uncomfortable to handle the predatory mites! They usually come in a package that you’d need to open and release onto your plants. Maybe your partner could help with that part? If humidity is an issue, you can mist your plants lightly to keep it up, especially since the weather tends to be rainy now.
