What’s the best way to fix a small crack in my shower pan temporarily?

I'm looking for temporary solutions to seal a small crack in my shower pan until I can afford to replace it during a bathroom remodel. Here's a link to an image of the crack I'm dealing with: https://imgur.com/a/XMZvPpI. It's not very big compared to the larger cracks I've seen online. My toddler is the only one using this shower, and they sit in a small baby tub far from the crack. I've been thinking about using flex seal tape—would that work?

You might want to avoid using silicone or flex tape for a repair on a fiberglass shower pan. From what I’ve learned, those methods won’t hold up well for longer. Instead, I recommend getting a fiberglass repair kit specifically designed for this kind of damage. They come with everything you need, including a fiberglass patch and an epoxy resin to seal things up properly. It sounds like a DIY project you could tackle! Just be sure to follow the instructions closely. Here’s a helpful link for guidance: https://burnshomeconstruction.com/how-to-fix-a-crack-in-a-fiberglass-tub-and-shower-pan/. Good luck!

I checked out that guide you mentioned. Do you think a complete novice can pull off this repair with little to no prior experience?
