Best Way to Remove a Concrete Slab Against My Foundation?

I've got this hefty 4-foot concrete slab, about 4 to 5 inches thick, sitting right next to my foundation that I need to get rid of. I'm a bit unsure about how securely it's bonded to the block foundation. What's the best approach to remove it? Should I just go at it with a sledgehammer?

The sledgehammer will work, but you should be careful. Make sure to monitor the area where it meets the block foundation. If you go heavy-handed, there's a chance you might chip or damage the blocks. Just keep an eye on it!

Using a sledgehammer is definitely an option! But if you're looking for a quicker way, you could rent a small jackhammer from Home Depot for about four hours. That could make the job a lot easier and faster.
