Hey everyone! I'm struggling with incredibly hard water at home here in North London. My kettle looks like it's been through a battle, my shower glass is always cloudy, and even my hair feels a bit off sometimes. I'm really curious to know how you all manage it. Do you use water filters, descalers, or just put up with it? What actually works, and what's not worth the money?

For really hard water, I recommend going for a solid salt-based water softener. It’s a proven tech and will solve a lot of your issues. Before you jump in, though, get your water tested to see exactly what you’re dealing with.
I invested in a water softener, and it's been a game changer! My showers feel so much nicer, and I don’t have to worry about those mineral deposits anymore.
I’ve dealt with hard water in Canada, and I always go for a whole home water softener. It makes your hair feel better, and it even helps my washing machine last way longer. Sure, you have to add salt every few months, but it’s totally worth it!
