I just spotted a mini monstera and a monstera peru at my local grocery store for $16.99 each. They're from Costa Farms, and I rarely see these plants around. I'm looking for a new trailing plant because I just chopped up my pothos. Both plants were in fair condition, but I really need to save money right now, so I didn't buy them. Is this a good deal? Should I go back, or will I regret it later?

Honestly, $16.99 for a Monstera Peru is a pretty solid price, especially if it's hard to find. But if you're trying to save money, maybe think about waiting. There's a chance you might come across other trailing plants that are cheaper. Personally, I might go back, but only if I’m sure I can take care of it. No regrets if it’s not the right time!
I got a Monstera from Walmart about six months ago, and it’s gorgeous! No regrets at all, I say go for it! Here’s a pic of mine! https://preview.redd.it/uurtg39nmuhf1.jpeg?width=5712&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=157182cd484951c6f8eb6fb8792cb288ef9a9c12

So pretty! Do you think it would do well in a west-facing window?
