I'm on a mission to improve my gardening by being more intentional about space planning. Lately, I've been leaning towards a formal aesthetic with clean lines instead of the chaotic styles I used to favor. So I'm curious—who or what are your biggest creative influences in the garden? Any recommendations for books, podcasts, or other resources would be super helpful! By the way, I'm in zone 7a for reference!

I love watching Garden Answer on YouTube every day! Their garden is massive and organized nicely, which gives me lots of inspiration, even with my smaller space. Their projects are just what I need!
Beth Chatto's books on various gardening styles like woodland and gravel gardens were big early influences for me. Also, Dutch designers like Piet Oudolf really shape my landscaping approach. Magazines like Gardens Illustrated and Fine Gardening offer amazing inspiration too! A must-read is The American Woodland Garden by Rick Darke—it’s super inspiring!
For me, Epic Gardening and Jaques in the Garden on YouTube really got me into gardening and helped me set up my spaces. They have some fantastic content that I think you'll enjoy!
Will check them out ... thank you so much!

I remember watching her during the pandemic when I was trying to figure out my flower bed!
