How Much Should I Expect to Pay for a Kitchen Sink Replacement?

Hey everyone, I recently discovered a hairline crack in my stone sink that extends to the drain, which is causing a slow leak. Since it's not a sustainable fix and I'm not a fan of the current setup, my wife and I decided to replace the sink altogether. We have a licensed plumber coming to measure and provide an estimate, but I'm unsure what to expect in terms of pricing. We're looking to switch from a dual basin stone sink with a garbage disposal to a dark stainless steel single basin with a drain strainer—I'm hoping to have more cabinet space and avoid future repairs. We might also have the plumber install a new faucet. Any insights or price ranges you can share would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Replacing an undermount sink could cost you a bit more than a drop-in sink. Given the other details you mentioned, it's tough to give an exact number, but I'd guess it might be on the higher end with the plumbing involved. Could be more than $1,500, especially if you're adding a new faucet and anything else. Just prepare for some unexpected costs.

Really hope it's not over $1,500, though! Seems like a lot for a sink replacement, right?
