Is My TV Mount Secure Enough or Should I Be Concerned?

I had my TV mounted today, and while the mount feels solid overall, I'm noticing that one of the screws is slightly angled, and it looks like the bottom part is digging into the drywall a bit. Is this typical, or should I be worried? Any advice would be appreciated, as I'm a bit anxious since this is a brand new home! It's tough to give a solid answer without seeing exactly what you're dealing with, but if you're sure those screws are into studs, you're likely fine. Just keep an eye on it!

As long as those bolts are anchored into a stud or utilizing the right drywall anchors for TV mounts, you should be good! Just make sure everything feels secure overall.

Thanks for the reassurance! I checked again, and I'm certain the bolts are into the studs, but it's just that one screw that's a bit slanted. I hope that's okay.

Yeah, if you can confirm those screws are gripping into the studs, it should hold just fine. You might want to monitor it for any signs of movement, but looks like you’re on the right track!
