I recently got some off-brand solar panels that have MC4 connectors. I know that my Jackery device uses an 8mm plug, so I can just buy an adapter from Amazon to connect them. However, I want to know if there's anything I might be overlooking. Do I need to add any extra components, like a fuse, between the panels and the Jackery, or is that built into the Jackery already? I'd really appreciate any insight on this!

Definitely pay attention to the voltage! The open-circuit voltage (Voc) of the panels should be 10-20% less than what the Jackery can handle. For example, if your Jackery can take up to 30V, look for panels with a Voc in the 24-27V range. It’s all about keeping things safe!
Watch out! If your Jackery is one of the newer models, they might use a proprietary connector, so double-check that before buying anything. You want to avoid any compatibility issues that could mess up your setup.
I've been using ZoupW 450W panels and they’ve been great! I leave them flat and they've handled heavy rains well so far. I charge multiple Jackery 2000s, and honestly, they work way better than the Solar Saga panels I had before. If you're considering options, I’d recommend these!

I have a Jackery that takes a dc input of “24V-3.75A (supports 12-30V)” and I’m planning to daisy-chain two panels that have a 10.9 Voc. Is that safe or should I stick to just one?
