I just moved into a new place, and I'm having trouble with the bathroom door. The door doesn't latch completely when I pull it shut. I'm looking for some easy fixes that don't involve removing and re-hanging the door. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks in advance!

One of the first things you can do is check the alignment of the strike plate. If it's not lined up properly, that could be causing the latching issue. You might also want to adjust the hinges slightly to get a better fit. It could really make a difference!
Make sure to check if the hinges are loose. Tighten any screws that might be wobbly, and if you find any screws that are stripped, try replacing them with longer ones. If the hinges look good, take a look at the strike plate to see if it has moved out of place. Identifying the exact spot that’s causing the problem could be key!
There are a few different things that could be causing this issue. You could start by adjusting the strike plate or even bending the tongue slightly to see if that helps. Also, I found a useful YouTube tutorial that guides you through similar latching issues, which might really help you out! You can check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJWnCPiDTAg
Thanks for the link! I'll watch it and see what fixes I can try.

Great tips, thanks! I'll definitely check the hinges and strike plate.
