Which Sander is Best for Finishing My Murphy Table: M12 Detail, M18 1/4 Sheet, or Corded?

I'm currently working on finishing a Murphy laser cutting table, and I need to sand some inside corners with 90-degree edges. I want to achieve a clean finish, but I'm not sure what tool would be best for the job. I already own a corded circular orbital sander, but for this task, I'm considering a detail sander or a quarter-sheet sander. I have access to both M12 and M18 systems, so I'm open to getting either. Should I just go for a corded version instead? Any advice would be appreciated!

I've used a detail sander and really liked it! It makes getting into those tight corners much easier than a quarter-sheet sander. The triangle shape really helps reach those 90-degree edges effectively.

If you're going to be sanding for long periods, I’d suggest sticking with a corded version. Since you mentioned being near an outlet, it saves you from worrying about battery life, especially during a sanding marathon. The detail sander is great, but you might run into battery issues if you're sanding a lot.
