I'm looking for advice on how deep to bury a 4-inch corrugated drain pipe that I'll be using as a gutter extension. Considering I live in the Deep South, I want to make sure I'm doing it right without any worries about frost. What's the recommended depth?

From what I've gathered, if you're in the Deep South like you mentioned, you really don't need to worry about the frost line. You can bury it just a few inches deep — around 4 to 6 inches should do the trick to allow some grass growth above it. Some folks have pipes running above ground without issues, so keep it simple!
