Hey everyone! I've got a corner lot, and my cucumbers (specifically Armenian cucumbers) are growing and spilling over the fence a bit. I've noticed some missing cucumbers lately, which makes me think that passersby might be helping themselves to them. I already tried to guide the vines back to my side, but it's getting pretty crowded now. I'm looking for any tips to keep my cucumbers safe! Ideally, I'd like to trellis them on my side more effectively, especially since I've got a wooden fence with chicken wire. I don't mind sharing some veggies with friends and family, but it annoys me when strangers take them without asking. Any thoughts?

Have you thought about putting up a sign? Just a friendly request asking people not to pick your cucumbers might help. It’s worth a shot!
Redirecting the vines back to your side sounds like a solid plan! Just check on them regularly to make sure they stay put. That should help a lot!
Honestly, the other side of the fence might be fair game, but a sign could still work. Just keep in mind, it may not guarantee they'll stop taking them.
I’m curious why you think it's fair game since it’s from my garden. I just want to find a good way to keep track of my cucumbers. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll definitely look into getting a sign up!
