I'm curious about your gardening experiences this year. What do you wish you hadn't planted, and what alternatives do you think would have been better? Personally, I'm regretting that I didn't plant more slicer or paste tomatoes since my current ones aren't producing much, and I ended up with too many cherry tomatoes. I forgot how persistent they can be! I also wish I had included napa cabbage for some homemade kimchi.

I definitely wish I hadn't gone with those volunteer tomatoes that sprouted from last year's compost. They really took over the garden, which made it tough to grow other plants.
I seriously regret choosing the snowbank white blackberries. They’re invasive and the thorns are no joke! Plus, I’m not even a fan of the taste at all.
Oh man, I overdid it with the hot peppers this year. I thought I could handle it, but eight plants is way too much! Lesson learned for next time, but at least everything grew well.
The cosmos I planted didn't impress me—they just seem weedy. I wish I would have gone for more roses or maybe some geraniums instead for a prettier garden.
I wish I hadn't planted blueberries without properly preparing the beds first. They need more attention! Instead, I would have opted for green beans—a much easier choice.
I really regret planting yellow squash. It's producing like crazy—four squashes a day from just one plant! I wasn't ready for that!
German chamomile looked great, but drying the flowers takes forever. Honestly, I might just buy the tea next time instead of dealing with it. Not a total regret, just a bit of a hassle.
I learned my lesson with bell peppers. I planted a bunch but don't eat enough of them. Next time, I'm growing my strawberries instead of buying started plants, especially since one of them spread a fungus to my others!

Haha, I feel you! My plant gave me about eight before those pesky vine borers showed up and ruined it all.
