Can I Use Right Angle Drill Attachments on Regular Drills?

I've noticed that most right angle drill attachments seem to be designed exclusively for impact drivers. I bought the 4n1 attachment thinking it would work with a standard drill. Is it just the flex shaft part that's impact-only, or is the whole system designed that way?

You can actually chuck a 1/4" shank into a regular drill! The reason most right-angle attachments lack a chuck is that they're designed to be compact. Instead, they use a 1/4" hex adapter which is much more efficient—just make sure to use drill bits that have a hex shank. There are specialized right angle drills with chucks, but they’re not as common. If you check out the new 20v multi-head drill, it even includes a right angle option.

I get that, but the package clearly says it's for impact drivers only, which is why I'm confused.
