Should I Choose Vinyl or Tile for My Guest Bathroom?

I'm debating between the standard vinyl flooring and an upgrade to tile for my guest bathroom. The builder includes vinyl, but upgrading to tile comes with an extra cost. If you've faced this decision, what would you recommend?

Tile is definitely more durable if properly maintained, and it holds up better over time compared to vinyl. Just make sure to consider how much the upgrade costs—if it isn't too steep, it might be worth it!

Exactly! But if the price is exorbitant, maybe stick with vinyl for now and replace it later if needed.

True! Plus, you can always reassess after living there for a while.

I’d go for tile! Even though guest bathrooms are usually small, you can find some really attractive, affordable tile options that add a nice touch.

Honestly, I prefer a nice, thicker vinyl with good underlayment. Tile can be a hassle to deal with altogether.
