I'm thinking about whether I should remove the tall white pines that are pretty close to my house. I've heard mixed opinions about it, and I'm concerned about the potential for them uprooting and causing damage. What do you all think?

I’m not a fan of having any tall trees directly over my home. Just a precaution! It might be worth considering how far they are from the house—30 feet is a decent buffer but still a concern.
I don't think you should remove them. Tall trees are part of nature, and they can provide shade and beauty to your yard. But, I get where you're coming from if you're worried about them damaging the house. It's always a balance.
Yeah, it's true that trees can be a hazard if too close, but if they're healthy, they might be more of a friend than a foe.
Why do you want to remove them? Are they causing issues right now, or is it just a fear of what might happen? Sometimes regular trimming can help manage their height and risk.

Exactly! A good distance can make a big difference, but it all depends on the overall health of the trees too.
