Can I Safely Use Smaller Blades on My Table Saw?

I'm wondering if it's safe to use smaller blades, like 150mm ones, on a larger 250mm table saw. I assume as long as the blade fits the arbor, it should be fine, but I'm curious about any limitations, especially related to blade height.

You might want to consider getting a zero clearance throat plate for added safety when using smaller blades.

Absolutely! The same rule applies to circular saws, so small blades can be used safely as long as everything fits well.

Yeah, you can use smaller blades as long as they fit the arbor correctly. Just be careful about possible pinching if you're not using a riving knife.
