I've got some metal taps inside my house that are really prone to water stains. I'm considering using RainX to try and keep them clean and prevent the stains from appearing. Has anyone tried this long-term? I'm also a bit worried about whether it might damage the taps.

Before applying RainX, make sure to clean off any mineral deposits with warm vinegar. After that, you can use RainX or even car wax. Just remember to apply it on a hidden area first, and consider wiping your faucets dry after use to avoid more spots!
