I'm in the process of designing a new L-shaped desk and I'm aiming for durability. I'm considering dimensions of 72 inches by 30 inches for each section. I know there's a ton of information online, but I'd really appreciate hearing some personal experiences and opinions from you guys!

I've had my L-shaped desk for a while now, and I absolutely love it! It’s nothing too fancy, just a quick purchase from Amazon during the pandemic. If I were building one myself, I'd think about using butcher blocks for a solid surface.
I totally get the butcher block idea, but I'd recommend checking out some other materials too. You can find really nice hardwoods that give great durability without going the Ikea route, which can sometimes feel a bit cheap. Just make sure whatever you choose fits your aesthetic!
