How Can I Fix Screw Holes in My Vinyl Fence Post?

I installed a vinyl fence recently, and there's a gate in an arbor. The contractor had to move the gate, which now opens fully, but I ended up with several visible screw holes that I missed checking before finalizing payment. I'm trying to get the contractor to fix it, but I'm not very hopeful. The holes are at eye level, so I want to make my repair as invisible as possible without ripping out the post altogether. I've thought of several options like vinyl tape, bondo, caulk, and screw hole plugs. Can I use plastic welding? I'm willing to put in effort or invest in a good patch kit, but I want it to look neat and last long. What are my best options?

I've heard of people using acrylic nails for quick fixes. The nice thing about acrylic is it can match the color perfectly, but I’m not an expert or anything!

It's a white vinyl fence, so I’m not sure the acrylic stuff would work well, but I might give it a shot!

Screw hole plugs are probably your best bet for a clean look. If they don't fit perfectly, you can use some clear silicone to hold them in. That's a pretty straightforward fix that should make it look much better!

Plugs really are the way to go. You can always enlarge the holes a bit if you need to fit the plugs better.

That sounds like a solid plan! I guess I should just go ahead and try it since the contractor seems unreliable.
