Does Anyone Know of a Fridge with Door Water Dispenser but No Ice in the Door?

I'm in the middle of a kitchen remodel and I'm searching for a refrigerator that has an external water dispenser on the door but doesn't have ice dispensing from the door. Ideally, I want the ice to be stored in the freezer drawer instead. Has anyone come across a fridge that fits this description? Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

You could look for models that have the ice in a bin inside the freezer instead of in the door. It gives you the convenience of accessing ice, without sacrificing storage space in the fridge section. I think many brands have this feature. A lot of users have mentioned it works well!

Yeah, that's a good point! It really helps keep the fridge organized when the door has more room for other items.

I actually have an LG model that meets your criteria. It’s a french door, no ice in the door at all, and it has a really slim external water dispenser. It’s been working perfectly fine for us for two years, despite some bad rep about LG. Just make sure to get the right model!

You might want to check out the LG LFDS22520S. It has exactly what you’re looking for and has gotten good reviews for its performance! Also, Fisher & Paykel has some options with bottom freezers and water dispensers that could fit your needs. Here’s their link for more details: [Fisher & Paykel Refrigerators](https://www.fisherpaykel.com/us/cooling/refrigeration/all-refrigeration/?prefn1=configuration&prefv1=Bottom%20Freezer&prefn2=consumerGroup&prefv2=CG_RETAIL%7CCG_BOTH&prefn3=ultraSlimWaterDispenser&prefv3=Yes).
