How Can I Fix a Tilted Bedroom Door with Hidden Hinges?

I'm dealing with a frustrating issue where all the interior doorframes in my house are made of metal, and one hinge on each door seems to be welded or otherwise hidden within the frame itself. I'm trying to figure out how to fix the tilt on this particular door since I can only access one of the hinges. Should I consider just extending the hole for the latch so the door can close properly? The gaps at the bottom are from when we removed the carpet but haven't put any wood back yet. Here are clearer images of the hinge situation: [Hinge Image 1](https://imgur.com/a/JgLWDnf) and [Hinge Image 2](https://imgur.com/a/n9XWT1N).

Could you share a photo of how the other hinges are hidden? It would help to see where the hinges should typically be located on the frame. That could give us a better idea of how to help you!

The only hinge that’s accessible on all the doors is the one on the door itself. Here’s a clearer image of another door's hinge situation: [Hinge Image 2](https://imgur.com/a/n9XWT1N).

Have you checked if the hinge is just painted over? From the picture, it’s hard to see the whole situation, but interior door hinges are usually soft. You might be able to adjust it by removing the pin and bending the ears slightly instead of taking the whole hinge off. Give that a try!

I’m 100% sure about the hinge—there’s no painting over it; the frame is level where the hinge should be. But I’ll definitely give your suggestion a shot!
