I've been struggling to remove the cold water hose from my washing machine, and it seems to be completely stuck. I've tried using a towel for extra grip, but it won't budge at all. I'm hesitant to use tools because I'm worried I might break the connector. Does anyone have tips or tricks to help me unscrew it safely?

Using pliers can really help here! Just grab the hose fitting with some channel locks but don't squeeze too hard—just enough to get a good grip without breaking anything.
I suggest warming up the hose area with a hot towel. Just place a small, hot towel on it for a bit, and then try using pliers to loosen it. The heat might help break any seal that's keeping it stuck.
