Do You Ever Buy Duplicates of Your Favorite Plants?

When I'm out looking for new plants, I often find myself tempted by super healthy specimens of plants I already own. I usually resist the urge and remind myself that I already have that type. But I'm curious—do any of you buy duplicates? Or do you stick to propagating instead? Sometimes I come across larger versions of plants I own, or I consider getting a second one to keep at the office. What do you all think?

I’ve got 6 hydrangeas in my collection—three of them are different colors. I can’t help but rescue those half-dead plants from the nursery; they’re typically cheaper, and sometimes they surprise you! At least one may be a goner, but who knows? Maybe I’ll see a miracle!

I’m all about rescuing plants too! I have two figs that started as sad, barely-there stems, and now they’ve taken over my windowsill—super leafy and happy!
