I'm setting up a solar-powered LifePO4 system in my 5th wheel RV and planning on going with a 24-volt setup. Since my camper is older and not designed for solar or LifePO4 batteries, I want to integrate an inverter converter. I'm particularly interested in the Victron 24v 3000w Multiplus 2 for its passthrough power capabilities. Are there any other inverter converter options out there that could work well for my needs? I anticipate being on the road full time and sometimes only having access to 20 amp outlets, so I want to utilize the battery power to supplement shore power when needed.

Just a heads up, 24v systems can be a bit of a middle ground—it’s not the best for everything. You might want to consider a 12v or 48v system; 48v is especially good for efficiency. I added a Victron to my camper and it made a world of difference! I can even run my system on just 5 amps while using the AC without any solar input, which is a huge plus when campgrounds have limited setups. The Multiplus also has multiple relays for load management, which can be super handy. I even set up mine to manage my water heater as a load dump.

Totally agree! If you go with a 48v Multiplus, it’ll allow you to wire in shore power seamlessly, and you'll switch smoothly between battery and grid power. Just remember to get the right MPPT charge controllers for your solar panels!
