Trouble with Liquid Nails for Flooring Transition Trim – Need Better Adhesive Ideas!

I'm having trouble getting my laminate transition trim secured to my tile with Liquid Nails. I previously tried priming with Mapei Ecoprim grip but that didn't help. Even after applying weights and giving it more than a day to dry, it's still coming loose after two days. I'm looking for suggestions on what adhesive would effectively bond the PVC strip to the tile. Any help would be appreciated!

When I had to remove a transitional trim, there was this spray insulation foam that was super hard — I used a chisel to get it off! Not sure if that's common, but it worked well. For attaching PVC to tile, I used Gorilla Max Strength adhesive on a PVC quarter round around my shower. I put a lot of weight on it, and it was rock solid! Might be worth trying.”,

I've had a similar issue before, and it sounds like you might need to rough up the surface where the glue connects to the tile. Sometimes just giving it a bit more texture can really help the adhesive stick. Is it failing to adhere to the tile, or is it sticking well to the trim piece but not the tile?
