Hey everyone, I had a really scary experience today when my 3-year-old managed to climb up on our balcony railings. I'm looking for suggestions on how to make it safer and prevent any climbing in the future. I'm planning to install anti-grab spikes on the top of the railings, but I'm also worried about the issue with the pillars. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like a real scare! My first thought is that a little one shouldn’t be left alone on the balcony. Maybe try adding a lock to the door leading outside? That way, you can control access better until they’re old enough to be more careful.
