I bought a Delta Contractor saw from Lowe's about 1-2 years ago, and today when I tried to make another rip cut after finishing one on some 1/4in plywood, the motor just wouldn't start. The blade turns freely, but if I try to power it on, it trips the 20A breaker. There haven't been any electrical smells or obstructions, and this doesn't typically happen with my saw. Should I take it back to Lowe's or reach out to Delta for support?

First, have you checked the red reset button on the motor? It's a common fix people suggest, even if you haven't had to deal with it before. It might need a really firm push, harder than you think! Let us know how that goes.

I tried that and it didn't work for me. Looks like it's going back to the store.
