Is $170 a Good Price for an 8.0 Forge Battery and Rapid Charger?

I'm relatively new to the Milwaukee tool system and I'm considering a deal at Home Depot for an 8.0 Forge battery and a rapid charger for $170. Right now, I don't necessarily need it, but I do want to get one eventually. I'm curious if this is a good deal or if I should hold out for a better sale, maybe look for a separate battery or a supercharger? I currently have a couple of 5.0 batteries and a regular charger. I'd appreciate any thoughts you have!

I think it's a smart buy. Considering everything is pricey these days, getting an 8.0 Forge battery and rapid charger together for that price is hard to beat. I got a similar bundle recently, and it’s been a game-changer for my high-energy tools.

That deal looks pretty good! The rapid charger is essential for anything over a 5.0 battery; otherwise, you're going to be waiting around for things to charge. So if you need both, I'd say jump on it!

Totally agree! I’ve made that mistake before and it’s frustrating. You’ll definitely appreciate having the rapid charger.

Honestly, if you use your rapid charger a lot like I do, this is a solid buy! An 8.0 battery with a rapid charger is definitely worth it. You'll save a lot of time not having to wait for regular charging, especially if you work with higher capacity tools.
