Hey everyone! I'm in Zone 7a in Western Colorado and I'm wondering if it's worth it to keep focusing on my fall and winter garden, or if I should just take this season off. I've already started some broccoli seeds indoors since it's still super hot outside, but I've neglected them a bit and they're looking pretty sad. Should I try to revive them, start new seeds, or just give it a rest for now? What are you all doing at this time of year?

It really comes down to how soon your first frost is. I just started my seeds a few days ago, and I'm in 8b. If you're a bit late in your zone, that's okay! If you don't feel like planting right now, some hearty crops like radishes, beets, or leafy greens might be good options for a last-minute planting.
For me, fall and winter are fantastic times to garden! I hear you about summer being draining, though. I’ve done a bit of planting but not nearly as much as other years. If you're feeling unmotivated, you could always buy veggie starts from a nursery instead of starting from seeds.
I'm planning to plant some spinach, sugar snap peas, and cilantro shortly. I actually ripped out my old cilantro plants to make room for new crops, so it’s a good time for me to get going! If you are looking for quick wins, these are great options.
