I'm curious how other gardening enthusiasts manage their watering schedules when starting seeds. I just planted my first batch this week, mainly herbs and flowers, and I've created a written guide that outlines which seeds need to stay consistently moist and which ones I should water less frequently until they germinate. I have quite a variety this year, including herbs, leafy greens, fruits, vegetables, and flowers. As my seedling collection grows in the coming months, I'm looking for tips on how to effectively keep track of my watering routine. How do you all do it?

For me, it's hard to keep track of everything without some help. I use a Google Sheet to monitor my plants and their watering needs. I set up conditional formatting so that when a date reaches a certain number of days past due, it turns bright red, which reminds me to check the moisture level. I customize the reminders for different plants since they have different watering needs. I just need to remember to check the sheet regularly, but it's been a lifesaver!

Thanks for the tip! I'm definitely going to give that a shot. I’ve never used Google Sheets before, do you have a specific template I should start with?
