I'm trying to build a fence for my grandma since my uncle recently put one up for her, and it looks great in pictures. He sent me some instructions but won't help me directly, even though I offered to pay him. This will be my first attempt at building a fence, and my last attempt ended up crooked! The instructions say I need a drill, wood screws, a level, some expanding foam pole cement (Fast 2k), 4x4x8 wood poles, and a post hole digger. I'm unsure if I can manage all this alone, any tips?

Honestly, it's not as easy as it seems! If your uncle thinks you can just wing it, he might be underestimating the work. Try to find someone local to help you out, perhaps a friend or someone from the community. People are generally more willing to help than you think!
Start by putting in your corner posts first and make sure they are perfectly vertical. Once the corners are squared away, stretch a string at the top and bottom to guide the placement of the other posts. If you’re using 2x4s for the horizontal part, stagger the joints so no two meet on the same post; it'll make the spacing easier and avoid unnecessary cutting!
It can definitely help to have another pair of hands! This way, you can ensure that the posts are straight and spaced correctly while measuring distances. You could also consider hiring a day laborer who might have some fencing experience; it could save you a lot of headaches!

Yeah, good luck finding help. I might just end up trying it myself.
