I'm really struggling with my garden because those pesky bunnies are back and already making a meal out of my plants! I have raised beds that were destroyed by them last year, plus a flower bed in the front full of bulbs and other plants that I'm trying to protect. Why do they love my coneflowers so much? What can I do to keep these rabbits at bay? I'm planning to elevate the raised beds to deter them, but I'm concerned about the flower bed and some pots in the back. What's the best spray to fend them off? Has anyone used motion detectors for this kind of issue? I have cats that I worry about with ultrasonic repellents since they stay on the deck under supervision. Should I just let my cats do their thing if they encounter the bunnies? Please share any tips and tricks you have!

Planting marigolds can be a great deterrent. I also sprinkle cayenne pepper around the plants. They dislike the heat of it and it definitely helps to keep them away without harming any pollinators. Just be careful where you sprinkle it!
Consider using a product called Liquid Fence, it smells really bad (for us at least), but bunnies hate it. You’ll need to reapply it after rain, but it’s all-natural and pretty effective.
I’ve used it too! Just make sure to apply it when your plants are still small, as they don't usually touch fully grown leaves.
Fencing is key! For long-term protection, you might want to install a chicken wire fence around your garden. It’s been the most effective method for several garden enthusiasts I've spoken to.
Chicken wire really is the only thing that completely worked for me. I’d totally recommend it!

I like the idea of marigolds! Plus, they look great in the garden while also serving a purpose!
