Why Are Two Websites Selling the Same DEWALT Tool with Different Names?

I found two different websites selling the same DEWALT circular saw with the same model number, but one lists it as "XR" and the other as "20V Max." If the model numbers match, can I assume they're the same tool? I thought the XR line was the top tier from DEWALT. What do you guys think?

It sounds like you're looking at the same tool, just marketed differently. DEWALT has recently done some rebranding, so some tools might be listed under "XR" and others just under "20V Max." Both should deliver the same quality, so you're likely safe going with either option. Links to the products would help confirm this, though!

Yeah, I've noticed that too! It can be a bit confusing, but the performance remains consistent across those lines as long as the model numbers match.

You might want to double-check the product details or reviews to see if there are any differences in features. While they're likely the same, sometimes the naming can influence the warranty or included accessories. Definitely worthwhile to investigate further before purchasing!
