Where to Score Affordable Pots and Planters?

Asked By NerdyPotato42 On

I'm a broke college student trying to find places to buy pots and planters without spending too much. I've already checked out Facebook Marketplace and Goodwill, but I'm hoping to discover some other good spots. I don't need anything fancy, but I do have a specific aesthetic I'm going for, so I'm looking for various options!

If you're near a TK Maxx or TJ Maxx, those places usually have a good selection of pots at decent prices. It's hit or miss, but you might find something cool! Also, local nurseries often have affordable options under $20, and don't forget to check Michaels or even Etsy for a variety of styles.

Yeah, I’ve found some unique ceramic ones from Etsy that weren't too pricey. Just keep an eye out for sales!

You can often find terracotta pots at dollar stores or local hardware stores. They're super affordable and come in a variety of sizes and shapes, so you can mix and match for a unique look. Plus, they give a nice rustic feel to your plants!

In my small town, there’s a pottery studio where you can find some secondhand pieces. Sometimes they have items with minor flaws that are way cheaper, and they're totally plant-friendly if you drill some holes! Also, don’t overlook thrift stores for quirky finds!

That's a neat idea! I love the stories behind artisan pots. Definitely check local pottery places!
