Will my Haworthia coarctata survive with mold issues?

I noticed some mold on my Haworthia coarctata last week and trimmed away a few leaves. I've also stopped watering it, but it seems there's still mold present. Is there a chance my plant will survive this? What steps can I take to help it recover?

I had a similar issue with my Haworthia! Don't worry too much yet; they are quite resilient. Make sure to check for any remaining mold after you do some root care. Also, a photo would help others give better advice. If you haven't already, consider showing your plant in a pic to get more tailored suggestions.

Just to add, it’s crucial to make sure you’re using well-draining soil in the future. Overwatering is a common issue with these guys and can lead to root rot. Your plant can bounce back, but you might need to give it some TLC while it recovers.

You should definitely take a closer look at the roots. If you see mold, it might mean there’s some rot going on. I suggest gently removing the plant from its pot, cleaning the roots, and cutting away any dead or rotting parts. Let the roots dry out for about 2-3 weeks before replanting it in dry, gritty soil. Don't water it until you see new growth. Haworthiopsis are pretty hardy, so there's hope! Good luck!
