We're about to welcome our second child and have just moved into a small apartment. However, we're struggling with excessive humidity in just one room, where the AC system is located right outside. Despite making efforts to control it, like keeping windows open for cross ventilation and running the AC, the humidity remains high. We've noticed some mold forming on toys and clothing, which is worrying, especially with our baby's arrival. The weather has been quite hot in L.A., but the humidity feels unreasonably high. Does anyone have ideas on how to manage this?

Have you tried using a humidity sensor to check the levels in both rooms? It could give you a clearer idea of what’s going on. Also, consider whether your AC is blowing air directly into that room; a water leak might also be a culprit. Good luck!
