Hey everyone! I've got a Samsung Series 8 front-loading washing machine, and it's been shaking quite a bit during spin cycles when I've got clothes in it. If I run it empty on full spin (1400 RPM), it's pretty quiet, but once I add a few items—like 3 t-shirts, 1 pair of shorts, and some boxers and socks—it starts to shake like crazy. I've made sure it's level and that all the legs are properly extended on a 20mm rubber mat. I even tested it on a flat surface without the mat, but the shaking persists. I took out the transit bolts, so that shouldn't be an issue. Has anyone had similar problems or know what might be causing this?

Have you thought about running it without the rubber mat? Usually, washing machines work better on solid floors rather than having any padding underneath. Those mats can sometimes add a bit of flexibility that leads to more shaking. I noticed a big difference when I ditched mine! Just keep in mind, though, that if you have bigger items like bed sheets, they tend to cause more noise and vibration. Maybe consider balancing the load better? Sometimes that helps!
Yeah, I did try it without the mat, but it still shakes a lot. The mat did help with the noise, but not enough. I'm wondering if it's just how this model is.
Honestly, Samsung appliances can be hit or miss. I've had my share of issues with them too; if you can return it, I might suggest doing so. I stuck with mine for too long, and it just got worse—dents on the metal, a leaky detergent drawer, and a loud spin noise after a few years. Just something to think about if it keeps shaking!
Have you tried running a full load? Sometimes the shaking can get worse with smaller loads because the clothes don’t distribute evenly. Just a thought!
I did, and it shook just as badly with a full load. It's really frustrating!

Right? My LG would vibrate too if I didn’t get everything balanced. It's tough to get it perfectly level, especially with heavier clothes.
