How Long Until My Pole Beans Start Producing?

I'm curious about how pole beans grow. I don't have the seed bag anymore, but will these plants keep growing until they actually produce beans? They're already reaching the top of my shade screen, and I've got some bamboo stakes where two plants are all twisted together! Any advice would be appreciated!

Pole beans definitely keep growing even after they start producing beans. Mine stretched out of the ceiling of my garden enclosure and now I'm worried about the birds getting to them since I can't reach up there! They took a while to start producing for me, and to be honest, it still feels like I'm not getting a ton of beans yet. Just a heads up – if you're using a lot of nitrogen in your fertilizer, it might be worth switching to something with less nitrogen once you see some flower buds. Too much nitrogen can make your plants super leafy but not really help with blooming or fruiting.

I've been feeding my beans with a 2-15-15 mix, giving them a half-gallon every few days plus some kelp and humic supplements. I've noticed a few tiny buds popping up, so hopefully, they’re about to start producing more beans soon!
