Need Help Choosing an Impact Driver for Farm Equipment

I'm looking to buy an impact driver for my farm equipment and vehicles, and I definitely want a Dewalt, but I'm torn between models. I've got my eye on the DCF922, but I'm worried it might not have enough power for larger nuts and bolts, especially on tractors. Can anyone offer some advice on which model would be best for heavy-duty farm work?

If you can afford it, get the DCF900. It tackles almost any job you throw at it. If you eventually find that it can't handle something, you might want to save up for the DCF964, especially if you're dealing with heavy-duty applications like farm equipment.

The DCF961 is great if you're looking for just one impact on the farm. It’s powerful enough to handle a lot, but if you're considering the DCF922 as a secondary option, that's also decent for lighter tasks, though not quite enough for farm use alone.

Totally, the 961 is more versatile. If it’s your main tool, that’s the way to go.

For farm machinery, I'd recommend getting a 1/2" impact wrench. The DCF900 is a solid choice; it handles rusty nuts and tough bolts easily. I've got it on my tractor all the time and it works like a charm!

I agree! The DCF900 is a workhorse. If you go for it, you won't be disappointed.
